Dr. Nihar Pillai brings a unique global perspective to his practice, having grown up across five countries and three continents. This diverse background has cultivated a broad understanding of various cultures and a truly patient-centric approach to dentistry. Following in his mother's footsteps, Dr. Pillai pursued a career dedicated to saving natural teeth and restoring smiles. He completed his specialty training in microsurgical endodontics from the prestigious University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, solidifying his expertise in root canal therapy and complex tooth preservation. After spending much of the last decade in the Northeast, he is excited for his Midwest adventure!

Dr. Pillai has taught endodontics in both graduate and predoctoral clinics. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Pillai's is proud to hold a Mastership from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a testament to his exceptional skill and knowledge in dental implantology. Furthermore, he has earned a Mastership from the American Association of Implant Prosthodontics. This dual mastership signifies his ability to not only save teeth but also to expertly replace them, offering a seamless and complete treatment experience for patients, providing unparalleled care under one roof.

When he's not in the clinic, Dr. Pillai continues his global explorations through culinary adventures, savoring diverse cuisines wherever he travels. He's also an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying soccer, tennis, golf, and swimming, and loves to take in the energy of live music. A devoted fan, you can often find him cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and Chelsea Football Club.
